POSTGENDAI DICTIONARY is an interview series that gathers the words of people working across film, literature, fashion, bookstores, publishing, and image culture. A dictionary is not only a tool for explaining fixed meanings. Here, it is a notebook for recording how a person, place, object, or work takes shape through language.
Through interviews with film directors, filmmakers, writers, editors, booksellers, and others, we gradually document fragments of image-making from Japan and elsewhere.
